Berry exciting news: Spider heads up British fruit grower Hall Hunter’s Blueberry campaign

Spider is delighted to announce they will be getting stuck into the British blueberry market as it is appointed by British fruit-grower - Hall Hunter to handle its PR, social media, trade communications and website management to support their summer Blueberry campaign.

Following a brief to increase awareness amongst consumers for the British blueberry, Spider devised a series of activations to not only encourage shoppers to put blueberries at the top of their shopping list, but to highlight the importance of buying British produce.

Hall Hunter is successfully growing under Managing Partner Harry Hall; however their story begins in 1966, with Harry’s parents Mary and Mark. With a love of the traditional British farm life, the couple started the business living on Heathlands farm in Wokingham – where they live to this day.

Over the years, the business has grown into what it is today; one of the UK’s leading producers of blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries.

Amy Williams, Spider MD says; “I have always been passionate about getting British produce put firmly back on the map, which is why we are so delighted to be helping Hall Hunter in their quest to achieve this.  We have strong plans in place to drive awareness and engagement across a wide audience, whilst helping to get British blueberries firmly back onto supermarket shelves.”

Jim Floor, Hall Hunter’s MD adds; “We’re incredibly excited to be working with Spider to not only build consumer awareness on the endless health benefits of blueberries but also to highlight the importance of buying British and the impact this has on our environment.”
