Leading independent drinks company C7 Brands has appointed London-based PR and social media agency Spider to launch its new coconut water brand Coco Fuzion 100 as it embarks on an aggressive global expansion plan.

Coco Fuzion 100 is the UK’s first-ever all-natural carbonated coconut water and is a natural isotonic drink. Coco Fuzion 100’s 250ml cans are an industry first, while the 330ml slim bottles are perfect for leisure, sport and fitness.

Coconut water is the fastest growing category in the UK ready-to-drink market, and global sales are to set to double from $2.7bn to $5.4bn by 2020 . In the UK, the coconut water market is worth $352m and is expected to grow to $464m in 2018, and $616m in 2019.

Coco Fuzion 100’s 250ml cans of carbonated coconut water are an industry-first natural alternative to fizzy drinks. Available in Mango, Lime, Raspberry and original flavour, each can contains naturally occurring, highly-hydrating electrolytes, and has no added sugar or preservatives. Produced on coconut island just north of the Mekong Delta, Vietnam, Coco Fuzion 100 is made using tender, young, organic coconuts which are picked, processed and bottled on the same day.

Spider’s brief is to secure coverage in the retail trade media helping Coco Fuzion 100 secure widespread distribution over the coming year. Spider will also handle the consumer public relations.

A key aspect of C7 Brands’ growth plan for Coco Fuzion 100 is broadening the audience for coconut water, making it a more mainstream product. Spider is charged with maximising the media coverage from the wide range of sporting ambassadors who are already signed up to help launch the coconut water brand.
