New Covent Garden Market is London's original and best fresh produce market. The UK's largest wholesale market, with 175 small and medium sized businesses employing over 2,500 people on its 35 acre site. The market sees tonnes of exceptional quality produce pass through the site each night, finally finding its way onto the plates of diners in some of the capital's top caterers.
The market, which moved to Nine Elms in 1974, dates all the way back to Medieval times when it first began on its original site where Covent Garden now stands in central London.
Spider is working with NCGMA to raise the profile of the iconic market and by leveraging its assets drive business specifically within the b2b market. As part of the campaign, Spider will be working to raise the profile of the NCGMA tenants, positioning them as the capital’s experts in fresh produce and flowers.
