Following last year’s successful campaign in promoting Guinness World Records 2020, Spider is delighted to share the news that we have been reappointed as their paid media agency for the launch of the 2021 edition. For the second year running, Spider is on a mission to bring this essential gift to households nationwide.

Guinness World Records is the ultimate authority on record-breaking achievements, and started out as an idea for a book of facts to solve arguments in pubs. The Guinness Book of Records was published in 1955, with a preface by co-founders Norris and Ross McWhirter, and sold over 187,000 copies (after four reprints) within a year!

The Spider social media team will be facilitating a strategic advertising campaign to launch the prestigious brand’s 2021 book through engaging content (including video, games, quizzes amongst much more) to further maximise awareness and support sales.

With a vast amount of experience in launching products for well known household names such as Peperami, Tyrell’s Crisps and Lily’s Kitchen Pet Food, Spider is ready to jump in and contribute to what will hopefully be ‘record breaking’ sales for the brand this year! Available in stores and online from 17th September 2020, Guinness World Records 2021 is jam-packed with astounding records that will help readers discover the world around them.
