Name, Job and Team:
Charlotte Lockie, Account Executive
How long have you been at Spider?
What accounts do you work on?
I work on a range of consumer clients, looking after brands in the lifestyle, food, drink, and restaurant sectors. These include CAVO Mediterranean restaurant newly opened at The Outernet Tottenham Court Road, Sam’s Riverside, Japan Centre, and Bioglan Superfoods. I have also recently joined the corporate team supporting across medical and health brand 2San and technical production and lighting service JLL.
What’s the best bit about working here?
The best part about working at Spider is the lovely, close-knit team. Everyone supports each other to do well and it’s a great environment to work in. We are given our own independence on clients and always encouraged to build relationships with key journalists.
We hold a Spider Awards ceremony each month, which is a great way to keep challenging myself. Recently I won the ‘Best Client Feedback’ award for my results on a sake event for our Japanese restaurant.
What I particularly enjoy is that every day is different at Spider. I work on such a variety of different clients, pitch to different media types, work on numerous campaigns and team brainstorms. I love brainstorming and everyone’s ideas are always welcomed.
What are you looking to achieve in the next 3+ years?
In the next three years, I would love to further my skills in the PR field, building great relationships with top tier media, which would enable me to hopefully manage my own client one day. With the concepts I am continuing to learn and develop from my seniors,I hope to keep moving up the employment ladder also. Watch this space!
When not at Spider, what do you love doing?
When I am not at Spider, I enjoy spending time going out with friends, continuing to explore London, alongside watching football (being a big Everton fan)! I love visiting the family back home as often as I can, where we really enjoy going on nice walks and spending time on Formby beach. I also love going abroad and really want to travel even more in future!
