Name, Job and Team:

Patrick Hampton, Senior Account Executive, Digital Division

How long have you been at Spider?

I have been at Spider for over 3 years! I first joined in 2019 straight out of Uni as an intern on the Digital Team. Over the 3 years I have been here I have now worked my way up to a Senior Account Executive within the Digital team and loving the continuous challenges.

What accounts do you work on?

I work on an array of our amazing food and drink digital clients. These range from UK snacking brand Peperami, to many of our restaurant clients such as Emerald Hospitality. Every day is so varied, I love it!

What’s the best bit about working here?

No two days are ever the same! We have such a mix of clients and such varied digital briefs and that is what makes working at Spider so exciting for me. Our digital clients have also given me some of the best working experiences including the chance to meet some amazing people such as Rio Ferdinand and Raymond Blanc.

We have a great team at Spider and all get on so well.  We are definitely friends as well as colleagues and are always going for lunch together, drinks after work and there’s always great banter thrown around the floors on a daily basis. All of this really makes me love coming into the office.

What are you looking to achieve in the next 3+ years?

I would love to be an Account Manager. Having already had the opportunity to manage my own campaigns and clients, I would love to be doing this on a more regular basis. I would also love to further develop my digital skills as I have a keen interest in SEO and websites, so learning more would be great.

Having bought my first flat in 2021, I would like to now work towards buying my first house! Not only that but I want to experience more of the world that I haven’t seen before such as America!

When not at Spider, what do you love doing?

Football, football, football!  The majority of my life outside of Spider is based around football. Being a Chelsea fan, I can imagine people would find my life boring, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. If I am not watching football, I am either playing it, virtually playing it or talking about it.
