Spider PR won the digital brief to launch Schulstad’s Bake at Home range to develop its market-specific brand proposition, promote its initial listings and drive awareness and trial of products amongst consumers.

Since soft launching the social channels last October, Schulstad Bake at Home has already seen engagement and interest in their products driven through social media advertising and influencer activity. This hopes to build as the brand secures new listings in 2020.

Schulstad are the UK’s leading supplier of high quality bakery products; their Bakery Solutions products are supplied to retailer’s stores frozen to be baked off in stores and merchandised in the fresh part of the bakery section (ISB). They are part of a bigger family, Lantmännen, a strong cooperative and business partner of 25,000 Swedish farmers to drive value throughout the chain from field to fork.  

The launch of the bake at home range has been ideally timed due to frozen products seeing growth throughout lockdown – currently worth £6.5bn while there have also been fewer supermarket trips, bigger baskets and less impulse shopping due to Covid.

Schulstad Bake at Home joins an ever growing roster of food and drink clients at Spider, that currently includes Peperami, Fox’s Biscuits, British Apples and Pears and Willy’s Apple Cider Vinegar to name a few.
