Greg Bateman, a professional rugby player currently playing for Dragons, – began brewing beer as a hobby, but after a difficult period of mental health struggles, he had a life-changing beer with a best mate. Teaming up with two close friends he launched People’s Captain, a craft beer range. Through the sales of their beers they are aiming to not just raise funds but provide positive social impact to help boost Britain’s mental health. We’ll drink to that.
People’s Captain have launched their first collaboration partnership gift pack with fellow brands Tony’s Chocolonely and Easy Jose Coffee – all three companies share a vision of working towards supporting their respective communities.
They’ve also launched their Legend APA into selected Punch Pubs across the UK. With more of the range expected into the on-trade in the coming months.
“We’ve got a mission from our personal story to bring about positive social change, make a difference and have some amazing brews whilst doing it and Spider PR can help us tell it to the right audiences. Mental health has been thrown to the top of the agenda recently for so many of us and the more we do – the further we can go together. Greg Bateman, The People’s Captain
