Spider announces acquisition of White Tiger

Spider has started the year with the announcement of the first of a round of potential deals, with the acquisition of White Tiger, the lifestyle PR agency headed up by Cass Helstrip.

White Tiger joins the Spider stable bringing clients including the Cayman Islands and Warwick Castle. Specialising in travel and lifestyle with exceptional consumer and broadcast expertise, White Tiger will retain its own brand identity as part of the Spider strategy to grow a group of companies that unite under its ‘guaranteed media proposition.

The acquisition follows the appointment of Amy Williams to MD at Spider last year. Amy was formerly joint partner of food and hospitality agency, Samphire.

Cass Helstrip who founded White Tiger in 2010, was previously at Rooster PR and Financial Dynamics. With her strong creative talents and media credentials, she fits perfectly in the Spider lexicon. She says: “I am thrilled to be joining the Spider group and look forward to integrating with its unique guaranteed media proposition”.
